It is less emblematic than ornithorynque, less fashionable than Capybara, less revered of gourmets than its distant cousin the lobster. But, at the list of the most narcotic animals, the shrimp deserves a special place. First, because its name is a terrible trap. Unlike the dwarf hippopotamus which is indeed a small hippopotamus or the catfish, which, for lack of meowing, belongs well to the fish class, the shrimp is neither a shrimp nor a mantle. But, as its appearance evokes the first when its two front legs recall the second, humans, in almost all languages, opted for this easy name.
