With three days until the presidential election, Harrison Ford will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

On Saturday, the Oscar nominee announced his support for the Democratic nominee and her running mate in two moving video statements explaining why others should vote for the vice president as well.

He said in a video: “I’m Harrison Ford, doing something I never thought I’d do: Telling people I’ve never met who I’m voting for and why I think they might do the same.” Rolling Stone. “In this election, I’m voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Do I agree with every single one of their policies? Of course not. Do I think they are perfect? Come on, for crying out loud, they are people just like you and me.

But these people believe in the rule of law. They believe in science. They believe that when you govern, you do it for all Americans. They believe we’re in this together. Those are the ideas that I believe in. Those are the people I can support. Look, I’m frustrated about a lot of things in this country. I’m sure you are too. But the other guy, he spent four years turning us against each other while embracing dictators and tyrants around the world. That’s not who we are. We don’t need to “make America great again.” Come on, we are great. What we need is to work together again. Ford added: “What we need is a president who works for all of us again.”

In a second video, Ford drew attention to former Trump staffers who have since opposed him. “When dozens of former members of the Trump administration sound the alarm and say: “For God’s sake, don’t do this again” – you have to pay attention. “They’re telling us something important,” he said.

Ford noted that many of them are voting against the GOP for the first time “because they know this really matters,” Ford added: “Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her on policies or ideas. And then, as we have done for centuries, we will discuss them, we will work on them together, and we will move forward. The other guy, demanding unquestioned loyalty, says he wants revenge. I am Harrison Ford. I have one vote, like everyone else, and I will use it to move forward. I’m voting for Kamala Harris.”

The shrinkage The star endorsement comes as Harris makes a final push to undecided voters, wrapping up her historic $370 million paid media campaign with “A Brighter Future,” an ad that airs on CBS and Fox during the NFL slate at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Ford previously endorsed Joe Biden during his 2020 campaign against Trump.
